Training

Coastwise North Devon

Finding Nature’s Footprints is providing training opportunities in the North Devon Coast AONB. The project and partners are working to train people in species identification, wildlife surveying and monitoring techniques that follow already set up and standardised surveys. Project events, including trianing, can be seen on the main AONB events page

Northam Burrows Country Park

Northam Burrows Country Park lies at the western edge of the Taw Torridge Estuary,  is 253 hectares of grassy coastal plain with salt marsh, sand dunes and generally unimproved grasslands and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).

As a partner on the project, we will work alongside Northam Burrows as a great location to train volunteers and survey for wildlife.

National Trust

The National Trust are carrying out an 8-year project to create species-rich grassland across 70 miles of North Devon, from Torridge to West Exmoor. We will be able to collaborate with training and surveying opportunities across National Trust land.
