Braunton Burrows Practical Conservation Day

Event Date: 3rd December 2024, 10:00 – 15:00

Event Category: Volunteering Activity

Cost: Free

Braunton Burrows is a wildlife hotspot in North Devon, with a range of special species dependent on the dune habitats found there. Join our monthly volunteer team helping to maintain the Burrows by controlling vegetation and scrub to allow wildflowers and other species to flourish!

Meet at Sandy Lane car park, EX33 2NX (What 3 words location: ///pixies.limits.dreamers)

No previous experience is necessary, please wear sturdy footwear, old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and waterproofs in the event of rain! All tools and equipment will be provided. Please bring lunch and water to all day events – be aware some sites have toilets at the car parks and others are more remote with no facilities.

Please book a place and receive more information by emailing jamie.buxton-gould@devon.gov.uk. In the event of bad weather we may need to cancel/reschedule events, so please email if you plan to attend so we can be in contact.
