British Amphibians & Reptiles

Event Date: 14th January 2022, 09:30

Event Category: Talk / Conference

Location: Online

An introduction to British Reptiles and Amphibians including the range of species, their habitats and how to conserve them.

John Breeds is an ecologist with many years of experience and a wealth of knowledge linked to conservation management and wildlife. For many years he was the ranger for Braunton Burrows and in 2007 he was awarded an MBE for services to conservation. John has a keen interest in British reptiles and amphibians, including monitoring species in the North Devon area. He has also been involved in work to monitor and conserve rarer species, such as sand lizards.

For further information, or any enquiries or concerns, please contact Debbie Frazer on deborah.frazer@btinternet.com.

This is an event hosted by the Barnstaple & District Amphibian & Reptile Group. For more information see the Eventbrite page

John will be sharing his wealth of knowledge with us, which he has gained from working with reptiles and amphibians for many years. His talk will be illustrated with photos so that, as we move towards the warmer days of spring and days of increased amphibian and reptile activity, we can appreciate them more fully.
