Come join us for an afternoon of tree planting on Woolacombe Down in partnership with the National Trust.
The National Trust had a successful mass tree planting session at the weekend but they still have trees to plant on some of the hillier areas! Join us to make a tree planting pledge for nature and discuss ideas and opportunities for the Pledge for Nature project.
Where: Meet at marine drive car park, Woolacombe
When: 13.30-15.30 on Thursday 27th Feb
What: Please be prepare to tree plant on hilly terrain, we will provide all the tree planting equipment.
Pledge for Nature is a new project launched at the end of January to encourage and support the community to take action for nature. Every season new activities will be promoted. From January-March we are encouraging people to: plant trees, install bird boxes, create bug havens and let a corner go wild-join us to complete your first pledge.
